How's it going readers?

I could tell you all how my life has been for the past however many months that its been since I lasted posted on LiveJournal, but instead I'm going to have a tournament where you all vote on who the better actor is in the match ups I give you. There is organization in the way I set this up, so don't worry I'll keep track. All you have to do is give your vote for each individual matchup. Don't be mad if I missed any actors because god knows I missed a few such as Steve Buscemi, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, John Malkovich, John Cusack, William H. Macy, Dennis Hopper, and the list goes on.

Looking at my last post, it's funny how sure I was that they were going to let go of me at Best Buy once the holiday season was over. TAKE THAT ME!

I'm going to plug Portland High School's play Almost Maine, which you should all go see tonight or tomorrow night (aka Thursday the 15th or Friday the 16th). 3 bucks for students and 5 for adults and it's at 7:30 in the Portland Aud. If you don't know where the Portland aud is, well, that sucks for you. I'll be there Friday night, so if people want to come with me, than please do.

Ben Folds show #6 is coming up in a little over a week and I've gotten a bunch of probablys but no definite yeses. Robbie already got my ticket (or said he would at least). If anyone wants to go, just talk to me about it.

Does anybody else find it funny that cat's head butt things to show ownership? I wished humans did that...

Last night was the All-City concert. The concert was meh. It had it's moments. I think that Nordli didn't give the solos (palindrome) to any one person only due to what happened with Pippin... ugggghhh. If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about with the whole Pippin thing, let me just tell you, it's a LOOOONNNGGG story.

I feel like two of the classes I have this semester are for the rejects of Deering and I feel kind of uncomfortable in them. I thought about dropping one, but it's just as easy as a study hall, so I might as well get the credit.

This entry is a lot longer than most of mine, but just as scattered.

I want Deering Drama to do Inherit the Wind next year.

Spring time is coming and that means... FRISBEE TIME! Anyone from Portland or Casco Bay interested in joining a Frisbee team, I should note that the Deering team is now a joint team with PHS and yours truly is co-captain.

MY LIFE IS COMPLETE

so here's how it went down:
he was playin w/ just his piano and he said he was gunna play one of the songs he wrote when he had to write 4.6 songs. Now naturally i thought he meant One Down since the chorus say one down and 3.6 to go also because he mentioned how his brother-in-law, Andrew, helped with rhymes (one down has the line "andrew came along y'all to write a couple of lines or so") so i had written "one down" on my set list, but after i did that he mentioned how he hadnt played this song in years. the fact that he had played one down recently didnt register with me. He started playing a song that puzzled me at first since i was expecting one down. suddenly it hit me. it was THE SECRET LIFE OF MORGAN DAVIS!!!!! i was sooooo happy that he was playing this!!!!!! this song is very rare since it was only a b-side to a single and never released on a full length album.Ok, so half way through the song ben folds starts to slow down and he started to mess up the lyrics a little bit then after the line "he wipes the coke and lipstick off his fat hairy chest" he stopped and said "oh man, what was the next line" to himself of course, because he thought no one would no it. Obviously i did so i yelled out "HE STUMBLES HOME FROM A LEZZIE SHOW!!!" and he yelled back "what?" then another guy yelled what i had yelled. Luckily Ben had noticed that it was 2 different people and he said "You guys wanna come up and sing this song?" I thought he was joking at first, but then he signaled for me and this other guy to come up. I shook Ben's hand and finished the song with this other guy and shook bens hand again then went back to my seat.

I still just cant believe it happened

Life. Stressful. So on and so forth. Bleh. Hung out with some people today, Sarah came over at 1-1:30, we watched Office Space, then Jack Jamie and Jason came over and we sang some Karaoke Revolution Party(we all suck i might add, but i realized you dont have to sing in key... so i dont). Then Jack, Sarah, and I went to Haggerty's got some spinach and beef stuff 'twas good. Justin came over, just sat around for another hour or so. Then we went up to Jason's for a few minutes, me and Justin came back to my house and watched some Homestar DVDs. And Ben Folds is awesome.

Good christmas. Got a Texas belt buckle, new watch, new wallet, games, cds, dvds.

I just don't know how to fill in the blank spaces anymore. Harder for me to make LJ entries. Can't make good sentences. No subjects in the sentences. Time to die.

Hello again,
I'm no longer FNL head tech, because I quit due to some troubles I had. Sorry bout the inconvience to most of you, but lets put the past behind us.

Tryouts for frisbee were today. Nobody stood out as really bad and I wouldn't want to be making the cuts, because everyone is pretty good. Hopefully, I'll make it, but if I don't, oh well. I'm starting to play less and less frisbee because of the weather, but we'll be practicing inside anyways.

Anti-homecoming party on Saturday and it's going to kick so much ass. Although some people can only go for a little while. If you are going to homecoming and not this party... you suck. Plain and simple, and that means you too Lucas. Homecoming is just a whorey fashion show with bad music and a bunch of drunk people bumping and grinding. I don't even know why Deering says they have a breathelizer, cuz apparently it can't catch shit. If you walk into the dance you can just point out the people who are drunk, but somehow those drunks don't get checked. Fucking Deering, no wonder I have no school spirit.

Movie marathon on Saturday. Don't know what I'm gunna watch, but I promise anybody who is coming that the movies shall kicketh thy buttox. Contact me if you want to join in.

Man, that shit was off the hook. Beck was amazing, such a great stageshow. Could be better then some of the Ben Folds concerts I went to... no, nothing is that good. Still, it was amazing.

Let's talk business for a moment. For Friday Night Line, tech is very unorganized right now and there are a lot of people floating in and out. I'd rather have too many people than not enough. You can do any tech aspect you want (costumes, building, make-up, lights, run crew, etc.) If you are interested in doing tech (with the exception of a few people who wrote their info down on a paper) IM me (dadrunkirishboy), call me (761-4786), or email me (double0_500@yahoo.com). It doesn't take much commitment at all and it'll be a hell of an experience, so I suggest y'all try it out
